2Q18 vs 2Q17:
本季度,公司的收入为10.6亿令吉,较去年同期的10.1亿令吉高出5.4%。由于2017年9月和2018年4月开业的新店以及新装修店的贡献,零售业务收入达到8.932亿令吉,较去年同期的8.441亿令吉高出5.8%。物业管理服务部门的收入录得增长3.4%至1.709亿令吉,较去年同期的1.653亿令吉有所增长,主要由于其于2017年9月及2018年4月开设的新购物商场的贡献及来自新装修和扩建的购物中心。

YTD18 vs YTD17:
截至2018年6月30日止的上半年,公司收入为21.8亿令吉,较去年同期的20.9亿令吉增加4.4%,主要是由于其新店和商场(分别于去年9月和今年4月开业)的贡献所致。

前景:
预计零售市场的长期前景仍将保持积极态势,因为从长远来看,预计经济和消费者信心也将保持积极态势。对于零售业务,公司将继续翻新其选定的商店,采用适当的营销和定价策略,商品分类改革,保持优质的客户服务和运营效率,以确保其核心业务受益。就物业管理服务而言,这公司预期入租率及租金率将保持稳定及可持续。这公司将继续利用其竞争优势吸引客户流量至其商场,以继续维持其作为购物目的地的地位。

[AEON CO (M) BHD: continue to refurbish its selected stores and employ appropriate marketing and pricing strategies, merchandise assortment reformation, maintaining quality customer service and operational efficiency efforts, continue to leverage on its competitive strengths to draw customer traffic to its malls]

2Q18 vs 2Q17:
For this quarter, the Company registered a revenue of RM1.06b, which was higher by 5.4% as compared with RM1.01b recorded in the preceding year corresponding quarter. Retail business revenue registered RM893.2m, which was higher by 5.8% as compared to the preceding year corresponding quarter of RM844.1m due to new stores which opened in September 2017 and April 2018 and also contribution from newly renovated store. Revenue from the property management services segment recorded a growth of 3.4% at RM170.9m over the previous year corresponding quarter of RM165.3m mainly due to contributions from its new shopping malls that were opened in September 2017 and April 2018 respectively and also contributions from shopping malls that were newly renovated and expanded.

YTD18 vs YTD17:
For the first half ended 30 June 2018, the Company posted a revenue of RM2.18b, which represented an increase of 4.4% as compared with the previous year corresponding period of RM2.09b mainly due to contributions from its new stores and shopping malls that opened in September last year and April this year respectively.

Prospects:
The long term outlook on the retail market is expected to remain positive as the economy and consumer sentiments are also expected to be positive in the long run. For retail business, the Company will continue to refurbish its selected stores and employ appropriate marketing and pricing strategies, merchandise assortment reformation, maintaining quality customer service and operational efficiency efforts to ensure that its core business will benefit. For property management services, the Company expects the occupancy rate and rental rates to remain stable and sustainable. The Company will continue to leverage on its competitive strengths to draw customer traffic to its malls so as to continue to maintain its position as a shopping destination.
