PESTECH (5219) - Pestech bags RM28.8 million power substation job
KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 24): Pestech International Bhd (Pestech) has secured a RM28.8 million contract to build a power substation in Kulim, Kedah.
Its wholly-owned subsidiary Pestech Sdn Bhd received the letter of award for the contract from N.U.R. Distribution Sdn Bhd (NUR), a filing with Bursa Malaysia showed.
The award is for the engineering, procurement and construction, commissioning and testing work package for the West 123kV substation project in Kedah.
“NUR is a new addition to the list of private utility clients to Pestech. The company will continue to extend its marketing effort in the procurement of power infrastructure projects both locally and regionally to enhance the variety of its clientele coverage,” the company said.
The 15-month project commencing Feb 23, 2015 will have no material impact on Pestech’s earnings for the financial period ending June 30, 2015.
However, it is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings of the company.
