PERDANA (7108) - Notable Trade - Dayang ups stake in Perdana Petroleum

KUALA LUMPUR (Mar 23): Sarawak-based Dayang Enterprise Holding Bhd has increased its stake in Perdana Petroleum Bhd to 29.88%, after recently acquiring three blocks of shares in the oil and gas player.
In a Bursa Malaysia filing this afternoon, Perdana Petroleum (fundamental: 1.3; valuation: 1.8) said Dayang (fundamental: 2.3; valuation: 2.1) had acquired a total of 11.5 million shares, or 1.55% from the open market between March 16 and 18 this year.
The price of the share purchase was not disclosed.
At 3.21 pm, Perdana Petroleum shares rose five sen or 4.63% to RM1.13, with 4.3 million shares done. Dayang shares also rose one sen or 0.44% to RM2.29 with 430,200 shares traded.
