IMASPRO - 7222

Introduction - IMASPRO principal activities are manufacturing and distributing of pesticides and related agrochemicals, such as herbicide, insecticide and fungicide, among others. Agriculture sector should be next in focus - Food is a multi-billion industries - an IMASPRO supports this sector.

Financials
- Let's start with some numbers. So, our rule is getting a GROWTH stock. Let's see the profits?
Last four financial years EPS
2015 12.51 sen
2014 11.42 sen
2013 9.37 sen
2011 6.37 sen

- Let's look at the CASH. Recently we kept hearing this "CASH is KING"...
Most recent quarter announcement has indicated a cash position of is RM46.9million Q4 2015. (that is RM0.59 per share)
[The past cash position? Q3 - RM39.7m]

- Liability: IMASPRO has virtually no loan. To be exact, the loan based on the most recent quarter announcement is RM1.78million Only.  Liability is a key risk to business when there is financial crisis - since Highly geared company will be exposed to huge financial risk and highly geared company means it is harder for them to borrow. So at IMASPRO - this is NOT a concern.

Recurring Income - Dividends?
- We can see that IMASPRO has consistency pay a dividend of RM0.035 each financial year. If I start from year 2008 until now.. each year is RM0.035.. it is a consistent track record. Based on a price RM1.45, this is a dividend yield of 2.4%. To me, this is a good hedge against bear market - when share price does not go up, I need to make sure there is recurring income. This satisfies my requirements.

Export-based theme
- With weakening Ringgit.. everyone is talking about Export-based company. We can see the advantage that IMASPRO has. It serves a significant export market:

And we can see the FOREX gain as follows:

Properties
- Company sit on a couple of properties all valued at COST. There financial statements have not reflected these "revaluation gain" just on its properties alone. Some were dated back to more than 25 years back.

Fundamentally - IMASPRO is fit for INVESTMENT. Of course - company is controlled substantially by 2 key shareholders as well as LUTH. This also explains why the share price can hold steady during recent correction.
Therefore, IMASPRO is not for quick gain - but to hold steady and wait for good return in future.

All the best.

It has been so long I have not posted anything...

All the best
Calow.
