- Investors have been on the sidelines waiting for clues as to whether the Federal Reserve will raise its key interest rate at the central bank's next meeting of policymakers this mid month.
Many will be looking to Friday, when the Labor Department releases its latest monthly jobs report.

- KLCI closed higher on renewed buying support in selected heavyweights after four consecutive days of losses

*GKENT posted sterling results in its financial year ended Jan 31, 2016 but is unlikely to sustain the performance in the current fiscal year.

*EPMB will continue to increase the contribution from the non-national car segment by targeting new customers. It is still hopeful of a recovery by domestic car manufacturers, especially Proton Holdings Bhd.
