这集团本季度的税前利润为1.314亿令吉，而上一季度则为1.565亿令吉，主要原因是运营和维护成本较高，主要是TBP计划的停运工作和联营公司投资的较低贡献。
前景：
Tanjung Bin Energy（“TBE”）发电厂目前正在进行为期70天的定期停运（2019年3月31日至2019年6月9日），以进行整改和维护工作。最近的21年RE电力购买协议（“REPPA”）为Green Biogass Sdn. Bhd. (“GBSB”)与TNB的合作，建设柔佛州哥打丁宜的2.4MW沼气发电厂，将加速集团向RE业务的扩张。

[MALAKOFF CORP BHD: higher operation and maintenance costs]
1Q19 vs 1Q18:
Higher profit before taxation of RM131.4 million was partially offset by higher operation and maintenance costs.
1Q19 vs 4Q18:
The Group recorded lower profit before taxation of RM131.4 million in the current quarter compared with RM156.5 million in the immediate preceding quarter, primarily attributed to higher operation and maintenance costs largely with respect to TBP’s scheduled outage works and lower contributions from associates investments.
Prospects:
The Tanjung Bin Energy (“TBE”) power plant is currently undergoing a 70-day scheduled outage (31 Mar 2019 – 9 Jun 2019) for rectification and maintenance work. The recent 21-year RE Power Purchase Agreement (“REPPA”) entered between Green Biogass Sdn. Bhd. (“GBSB”) with TNB for the proposed 2.4MW biogas power plant in Kota Tinggi, Johor will accelerate the Group’s expansion into the RE segment.
