KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 8): PUC Bhd’s unit is introducing the BonusLink loyalty point programme on the group’s e-commerce platform, PrestoMall.

Towards this end, Presto Universe Sdn Bhd today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BonusKad Loyalty Sdn Bhd (BLSB).

“The collaboration will improve the attractiveness of PrestoMall as an e-commerce site by introducing the BonusLink loyalty point issuance programme as well as BLSB’s sole and exclusive channel for BonusLink point redemption by BonusLink members on PrestoMall site.

“It provides convenience for BonusLink members in redemption of products and points collection on PrestoMall,” PUC said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

BonusLink has over 9 million registered members of whom over 4 million are active, and experiences an average of over RM55 million worth of BonusLink point redemptions per year.

PUC said PrestoMall will issue BonusLink points as its sole loyalty point issuance programme except for apparel products and shoes.

However PrestoMall will retain the rights to explore other loyalty point issuance programmes as non-key strategic partnerships, as well as for its marketing campaigns on short term or tactical basis.

PUC’s share price closed unchanged at five sen, valuing the group at RM118.68 million.
