NOTION secures RM338mil Rubber Gloves Sales Contract with European Firm
Notion Vtec Bhd has bagged a RM338mil contract with European company which is in the personal protection equipment (PPE) supply chain to supply disposable nitrile examination gloves for US$82 million or RM337.8mil.
According to Notion, the supply of gloves will be separated into two tranches. However, it did not identify the European customer to whom it will be supplying the gloves to, nor the number of gloves involved.
The sales contract is expected to have a positive impact on its earnings and net assets per share starting from its first quarter ended 31 December 2020 (Q12020) until the expiry of sales contract.
NOTION invests RM1mil to fund AI product development
Notion Vtec Bhd is investing RM1mil in an Artificial Intelligence (AI) product maker Blinkware Technology Sdn Bhd.
The investment aims to target for the development of head-gear wearable thermal imaging camera and screen, as well as the x-ray scanning system. According to NOTION, the return on investment will be determined based on the distributed profits of Blinkware arising from the sales of the products namely Headgear and X-ray System.
