Mah Sing offers payment-free homes for 4 years
PETALING JAYA: Mah Sing Group Bhd kicked off this year with a new “Home with Mah Sing” campaign, offering buyers an opportunity to own a home payment-free for up to four years.
In a statement issued yesterday, the property developer said the campaign will run until March 29,2021, with Mah Sing offering various incentives including low booking fees starting from RM500 as well as free stamp duty and legal fees.
Homebuyers will benefit further from the units available which have been selected from participating Mah Sing projects and revolve around the existing Maybank Islamic financing solution, HouzKEY, as well as the Home Ownership Campaign (HOC) 2021.
Given the financial constraints in obtaining financing during the Covid-19 pandemic, Mah Sing’s founder and group managing director Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum said the group wants to make ownership of homes more accessible to people during this challenging period.
“Under this campaign, buyers have the option of choosing a sales package which offers a payment-free period of up to four years (the exact payment-free tenure differs for each participating project).
“Depending on the project, this payment-free period comes into play during construction, or upon vacant possession, ” he explained.
Moving forward, Leong is optimistic about this year, highlighting that the group’s new campaign will help buyers own a home.
The “Home With Mah Sing” campaign is based on three key concerns, namely, financial issues, uncertainty in the property market or the economy, and product packages such as affordability.
Meanwhile, Mah Sing chief executive officer Datuk Ho Hon Sang said the campaign was targeted to address issues faced by Malaysians when trying to own a home.
“We hope the introduction of this campaign will help ease the issues for potential homebuyers to own a home, especially for first-time purchasers.
“We remain committed to providing our valued customers with the best offerings and expect home seekers out there to seize this chance to own the home of their dreams, ” he added.
Moving forward, Ho said the best investment is owning a home.
“In fact, in today’s new normal, where social distancing and work-from-home practices are de rigueur, a home has become an even more integral part of people’s lives, ” he added.
In the Klang valley, the participating projects in this campaign are M Oscar, M Centura, M Arisa, M Adora, M Luna, M Vertica, M Aruna, Sensory Residence @ Southville City and Cerrado Residential Suites @ Southville City.
In Johor, the projects included in the campaign are Hazel @ Meridin East, Orchid @ Meridin East, Acacia @ Meridin East, Meridin Bayvue Serviced Apartments, Ixora Park City @ Meridin East, Meridin Medini Condo, Meridin Medini SOVO & Hotel, Meridin Medini 1&2 Retail and iParc.
In Penang, the project included is Ferringhi Residence 2.
