KUALA LUMPUR: Ranhill Utilities Bhd has been awarded a US$27mil (RM125.8mil) contract to provide detail design engineering services for a new P-82 floating production, storage, and offloading (FPSO) vessel for the Brazilian state-owned oil and gas producer, Petroleo Brasileiro S.A (Petrobras).

Ranhill Utilities said the contract was awarded to its 51% owned subsidiary Ranhill Worley Sdn Bhd by Sembcorp Marine Integrated Yard Pte Ltd to jointly execute the contract.

“The contract and the scope of works under the contract for the project will be undertaken by Ranhill Worley,” Ranhill said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday.
