KUALA LUMPUR: JF Apex Research expects Sunsuria, AT Systematization and Genetec Technology to see trading interest on Wednesday.
It said Sunsuria’s executive chairman and substantial shareholder Datuk Ter Leong Yap inject over 440 acres of landbank into the group, which will lead to the group's total project gross development value (GDV) rising to RM11bil.
AT Systematization has received the go-ahead from the Sustainable Energy Development Authority Malaysia (SEDA) to supply renewable solar energy to Tenaga Nasional Bhd.
As for Genetec Technology, the group has secured new orders from the electronics, semiconductor, hard disk drive (HDD), automotive and other industries, totalling RM40.6mil.
Overnight on Wall Street, US markets plunged more than 1.5% following the surge in US dollar and decline in oil price.
The Dow and S&P 500 saw their gains for the year wiped out overnight. Similarly, European stocks closed lower following concerns of Greece's bailout negotiations starting Wednesday.
At Bursa Malaysia, the FBM KLCI came off its intra-day high of 1799 points to close 2.01 points lower at 1,789.73 after a last minute drop in DiGi shares.
“Following the bearish performance in the US, we expect the KLCI to be negative today and test its support of 1,780,” JF Apex Research said.
