BIOHLDG (0179): BIOALPHA HOLDINGS BHD signs health supplement manufacturing agreement with Ritamix
KUALA LUMPUR: Bioalpha Holdings Bhd's subsdiary Bioalpha International Sdn Bhd has entered into a collaborative agreement with Ritamix Global Ltd for the manufacture and supply of health supplement products.
The group said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia that Hong Kong-based Ritamix will market the products in China and Southeast Asia.
"Pursuant to the CA, BISB will act as the contract manufacturer for Ritamix in the development of health supplement products not limited to immunity and longevity products.
"The products are formulated and owned by Ritamix," it said.
Ritamix is listed on the main market of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, and is principally engaged in the distribution of animal feed additives and, to a lesser extent, human food ingredients, and the manufacturing of animal feed premixes.
Bioalpha was the second most actively traded stock on Bursa Malaysia today with 257.12 million shares traded. At the midday break it was up one sen to 36.5 sen a share.
