Google Cloud public sector director Paul Wilson said to further help Government agencies with their digital transformation, Google Cloud would develop a cloud centre of excellence to deliver hands-on training around Google Cloud tools and technologies to public sector teams to drive best practices for cloud implementations.

He said the company would also work with MAMPU to develop creativity skills for innovation lab to help foster a culture of innovation within the public sector.

“At the same time, Google Cloud and Prestariang Systems will be organising interactive workshops to support public sector organizations with user research and rapid prototyping with Google Cloud’s tools,” he said.

Meanwhile, Awantec chairman Syed Naqiz Shahabuddin said the collaboration with Google Cloud was to fulfil the needs of customers in Malaysia’s public sector and to help them continue to optimise their cloud infrastructure and innovate to deliver new citizen services.
