TOPGLOV (7113) TOP GLOVE CORP BHD included in Sustainability Yearbook 2022 by S&P Global

KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 2): Top Glove Corp Bhd has been included in the Sustainability Yearbook 2022 by S&P Global.

In a statement on Wednesday (Feb 2), the company said it is one of the 53 industry movers in the 2022 Yearbook.

The annual yearbook is among the world's most comprehensive publications providing in-depth analysis on corporate sustainability.

It is based on companies across various industries assessed in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessments, CSA, which is the basis for the S&P Global ESG Score.

The ESG Score is also the basis for inclusion in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI).

Top Glove said companies within the top 15% of each industry that participated in the CSA last year and this year achieved an improvement in their S&P Global ESG Score of at least 5%.

Top Glove is named among the top 10% in the Health Care Equipment Supplies industry category globally in the CSA as at the score date of Nov 12, 2021, compared with the previous year when it stood among the top 19% of its peers.

Top Glove managing director Datuk Lee Kim Meow said the company's inclusion in the Sustainability Yearbook 2022 by S&P Global is a significant milestone in Top Glove's journey towards becoming a leading voice in the healthcare manufacturing industry in terms of ESG.
