HUAYANG (5062) - HUAYANG - A BEAUTIFUL MASTERPIECE

HUA YANG is a property developer which started its business since 1978. According to its website, Hua Yang is recognised as one of the nation’s leading property developers in the affordable housing segment.
The
chart of Hua Yang tells a great story. During October 2016 last year,
the stock saw a huge sell-off accompanied with fierce selling volume.
However, the selling pressure seemed to have dried out in November. What
SPARKS my interest is that there has been some buying interest in this
stock as shown in the volume recently, supporting the price at the RM
1.10 level. The best part about this stock is that HUA YANG BOUGHT A 10.8% STAKE in Magna Prima Berhad for RM66.6mil as reported by the STAR Newspapers in late January 2017. Magna Prima has
seen its share price skyrocket to RM 1.66 from RM 1.00 but HUA YANG has
not shown any price correlation. Logically speaking, there should be
some correlation between these two companies despite the acquisition
price, but It seems like the market has not spotted it.
The
breakout point for this stock is at RM 1.15 followed by first
Resistance of RM 1.24 and Resistance 2 of RM 1.40. Support can be seen
at RM 1.10. There may be potential upside for this stock
