IN BULL RUN YOU MUST KNOW HOW TO PRESERVE GAINS FROM SHARE MARKET & AVOID LOSSES, Calvin Tan Research

Hi guys,

To-night I want to share some real life testimonies

Two groups

Group number One

Those who made money & preserved their gains

Group number Two

Those who made money in the share market but later lost back all & more

Ok the 1st Group

1) During the Bull run year of GoGo Years 1993 before the Asian Financial Crisis I know Mr. Lim from Kajang (my contractor friend)

Mr. Lim said he had a friend who made money in Stock Market in 1993 to 1996 but escaped the horrible crash of 1997/8 when many were totally wiped out who overstayed

This was what his friend did

His friend made a modest sum of Rm300,000 (many made much more than that)

He sold his paper gain & cashed out his shares & bought a piece of commercial land in Jalan Reko, Kajang, Selangor

Years later I paid him a visit when Kajang Lim brought me to his Jalan Reko Shop (now he had built a shop selling electrical goods)

And he lived contentedly & happily

2) Calvin Tan own story

Sometime in year 2006/7 like now. I bought Peremba shares at 22.5 sen

Suddenly NST came out with an article that Peremba secured a "JV Project" in the Middle east.

To my surprise Peremba shot up (limit up) to over 50 sen. I don't know the reason why but it was news of the day

Then NST came out with a 2nd article about Peremba securing more jobs in the Middle east

WOW! Peremba Shot past 80 sen in another limit up. There were no UMA (Unusual Market Activity) I think in those days

But since I know my maths I saw that Peremba accounts do not justify such price rise in so short a time

So this was what I did

I SOLD OFF PEREMBA AT 80 SEN. AND THEN I BOUGHT INTO GOPENG AT 70 SEN (GOPENG LIKE A DEAD LOG NEVER MOVED)

And I was correct. Since PEREMBA MOVED UP ALOT IT ALSO MOVED DOWN ALOT LATER

AND SINCE GOPENG DID NOT MOVE MUCH BEFORE I PARKED MY MONEY THERE. IT ALSO DID NOT MOVE MUCH AFTER I PARKED MY MONEY THERE

WHEN SUBPRIME CRISIS STUCK PEREMBA WENT BANKRUPT & DELISTED

GOPENG ALSO WENT DOWN FROM 70 SEN TO 55 SEN WHICH I SOLD STILL WITH LOTS OF PROFITS MADE FROM SELLING PEREMBA

FOR SOME DAYS I HAVE GIVEN WARNINGS ABOUT SELLING SOLUTION THE PUMPED UP STOCK TO PARK IN THE SAFETY OF WTK (4243)

NOW I SEE SOLUTION LOOKS LIKE PEREMBA AND WTK LOOKS LIKE GOPENG

WHY?

ANSWER:

SOLUTION HAS NO MARGIN OF SAFETY

SEE ITS ASSETS

A building consists of a 2 storey workshop and 3 storey office block built on

a piece of subleased land from Technology Park Malaysia Corporation Sdn

Bhd (“Sub-lessor”) held under H.S.(D) 116013, P.T. No. 13796, Mukim

Petaling, Daerah Kuala Lumpur, Negeri Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala

Lumpur, with a postal address of PT 13796, Jalan Tekno Usahawan 2,

Technology Park Malaysia, 57000 Kuala Lumpur.

Sub-lease for 30 years.

Expiring 30 March 2045.

Land Area 43,560 sq ft

There is a restriction of interest on the property requiring the Sub-Lessor

and/or the Federal Lands Commissioner’s consent to any transfer or charge

of the property.

Encumberances

The subleased land is presently charged to Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad

under Presentation No. 29736/2017 for loan facilities granted to SESB.

As you can see Solution has no margin of safety

It has only one asset. And that is a sub-lease property for only 30 years

Now if you go see WTK (4243) Assets you will find lots of freehold assets

Let me show you this one where I live

No. 86 *

Tagore Lane

Industrial Estate, Singapore

11,354

sq.ft. (FREEHOLD)

Land with

warehouse

30 September (Last valued)

1983

36 years

Rm4,086,000

THIS MEANS THAT IF WTK WERE TO BRING FORWARD ITS PROPERTY BOUGHT 36 YEARS AGO

IT SHOULD ALSO BE REVISED FROM RM4 MILLIONS TO RM36 MILLIONS OR UP 900%

NOW GO AND STUDY DEEPLY ALL THE ASSETS OF WTK YOURSELF

SO YOU KNOW IF WTK IS TAKEN PRIVATE ANYTIME LATER IT SHOULD BE MORE THAN KWANTAS AT RM1.65

AND ONE MORE FACT BEFORE I CLOSE

GRAND CHAMPION SIFU DR NEOH SOON KEAN

IS IN TOP 30 HOLDERS OF JTIASA WITH 2.3 MILLION SHARES

FOR THPLANT DR. NEOH HAS 3.7 MILLIONS SHARES ALSO IN TOP 30

BUT IN WTK (4243)

DR. NEOH THRU HIS OWN COMPANY NEOH CHOO EE & COMPANY OWNS A WHOPPPING 5 MILLION SHARES OF WTK

SO DR. NEOH HAS MORE SHARES IN WTK THAN IN OTHER OTHER PLANTATION COMPANY

WHY?

BECAUSE HE KNOWS

BEST REGARDS

HE OVERSTAYED AND LOST ALL HE MADE. THEN HE LOST RM5 MILLIONS OF HIS CAPITAL & RAN AWAY FROM AH LONG

2) MR. HO MADE RM50,000 & RENOVATED HIS OFFICE

HE BOASTED HE GOT FREE EASY MONEY MADE FROM SHARES (LIKE SOLUTION & BINTAI OF HIS TIME)

MR. HO LATER LOST RM3 MILLIONS AND RAN AWAY FROM LOAN SHARK & GONE INTO HIDING

HIS SHOP WAS SOLD TO AH LONG FOR A SONG

3) MR. MARK FROM SUBANG JAYA MADE RM800,000 FROM PLAYING HOT AIR BALLOON STOCKS

HE SAID MAKING MONEY FROM CHASING HOT STOCKS SO EASY WHY NEED TO WORK ANYMORE?

IF CAN MAKE EASY MONEY SITTING IN AIRCON ROOM PLAYING SHARES WHY STILL WANT TO WORK UNDER HOT SUN

SO ONE YEAR LATER MR. MARK GAVE UP ALL HIS RM800,000 GAINED & THEN LOST ANOTHER RM1.2 MILLIONS OF HIS OWN HARD EARNED CAPITAL

THAT'S IT
