Azizan Osman increases stake in MPAY (0156): MANAGEPAY SYSTEMS BHD
Petaling Jaya: One of Managepay Systems Bhd’s (MPay) main shareholders, Datuk Dr Azizan Osman has increased his stake in the company to 10.58% or 89 million shares via his vehicle, Richworks International Capital Holdings Sdn Bhd (RiCH).
This was in addition to his previous acquisition of 44 million shares on June 18, 2021, RiCH said in a statement on Saturday.
The company said Azizan had raised his stake in the company in view of MPay’s bid for a digital bank licence from Bank Negara.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, MPay, an electronic payment solutions provider, had announced the disposal of 45 million shares at the share price of 28 sen per unit to RiCH, the owner of RichWorks International Sdn Bhd. — Bernama
