Bursa to remain closed on Wednesday

KUALA LUMPUR (May 2): Following the announcement that the first day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri falls on Monday (May 2), stock exchange operator Bursa Malaysia Bhd said it will remain closed on Wednesday (May 4).

"Bursa Malaysia and its subsidiaries will resume operations on Thursday (May 5)," it said in a statement.
