KUALA LUMPUR (June 20): Here is a brief look at some corporate announcements and news flow on Monday (June 20), which involve Caely Holdings Bhd, Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd, SFP Tech Holdings Bhd, Uzma Bhd, Kelington Group Bhd and Tuju Setia Bhd.

Caely Holdings Bhd founder Datin Fong Nyok Yoon has lodged a police report against the lingerie maker’s board of directors for the dissemination of alleged false and misleading information on Bursa Malaysia regarding the appointment of Datuk Jovian Mandagie and Sandraruben Neelamagham as board members. Fong said she lodged the police report on June 17, following Mandagie’s revelation earlier the same day that his appointment as the group’s executive vice chairman was false as he did not agree to accept it.

Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd has bagged a contract worth RM154.68 million for a residential development project in Kuala Lumpur. The company said its unit Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd accepted a letter of award from Bangsar Hill Park Development Sdn Bhd for the main building of the development at Lorong Maarof. The project will commence on July 15, 2022 and be completed within 35 months from the commencement date.

SFP Tech Holdings Bhd ended its debut day on the ACE Market with a closing price of 67 sen, representing a premium of 37 sen or 123% above its initial public offering (IPO) price of 30 sen. Shares of SFP Tech opened 30 sen higher at 60 sen, and touched an intraday high of 70 sen. It was the top active counter of the day, with 329 million shares traded. At its last close, SFP Tech had a market capitalisation of about RM536 million.

Uzma Bhd has bagged a contract worth US$10 million (about RM44.01 million) to provide hydraulic workover unit (HWU) services in Thailand from the PTTEP Group. The contract was secured by its wholly owned foreign subsidiary, MMSVS Group Holdings Co Ltd, on May 25.

Kelington Group Bhd has won a contract worth RMB94 million (about RM62 million) from China's largest semiconductor foundry to perform gas hook-up works in Shanghai, China. Kelington said the job was awarded to its wholly owned Kelington Engineering (Shanghai) Co Ltd, and that it will commence this month and be completed by March 2023.

Tuju Setia Bhd's wholly-owned Pembinaan Tuju Setia Sdn Bhd has secured a construction contract worth RM257 million for a mixed project in Kajang, Selangor. The contract, which was awarded by Daksina Harta Sdn Bhd, involves the construction of two blocks of serviced apartments (1,605 units) and two-storey retail shop lots (20 units), as well as one block of car park podium and related facilities at Lot 100961 Seksyen 9, Jalan Cheras in Kajang.
