4Q18 vs 4Q17:
尽管收入略微下降，但拉法基马当前季度的税前亏损较低为8,000万令吉，而去年同期的税前亏损为1.03亿令吉。水泥业务的经营亏损减少主要是由于更好的网络路线优化导致分销成本改善及重组后的SG＆A降低，朝着更精简的组织和有力的成本削减措施，折旧也降低，和去年同一季度产生的一次性重组成本。
YTD18 vs YTD17：
收入减少部分被出口增加抵消。拉法基马税前亏损为4.05亿令吉，而去年税前亏损则为2.79亿令吉。
4Q18 vs 3Q18：
拉法基马本季度收入高于上季度，主要是由于水泥的国内和出口销售增加。与收入增加一致，拉法基马录得较低的税前亏损8,000万令吉，而上一季则为1.34亿令吉。改善的结果还归因于较低的经营成本，主要是由于有利的能源和分销成本，但部分被集料和混凝土部门的商誉减值抵消了。
前景：

[LAFARGE MALAYSIA BHD: There is growing demand for clinker in the export markets with improving prices, Langkawi plant is well-positioned to benefit from this, cost reduction and plant reliability remains a priority and the Group will also continue to focus on enhancing its operational efficiency further]
4Q18 vs 4Q17:
Despite the marginally lower revenue, the Group recorded a lower loss before tax for the current quarter of RM80 million compared to the loss before tax of RM103 million for the same period last year. The lower operating loss from the Cement segment is mainly due to the improvement in distribution cost attributed to better network route optimization and lower SG&A following a restructuring exercise towards a leaner organization and vigorous cost cutting measures, lower depreciation and higher one-off restructuring cost incurred in the corresponding quarter last year.
YTD18 vs YTD17:
The decrease of revenue was compensated partially by the higher export. The Group recorded a loss before tax of RM405 million compared to loss before tax of RM279 million in last year.
4Q18 vs 3Q18:
The Group’s revenue in current quarter is higher than last quarter mainly due to higher domestic and export sales from Cement segment. In line with the higher revenue, the Group recorded a lower loss before tax of RM80 million compared to RM134 million in preceding quarter. The improved result is also attributed to the lower operating cost mainly due to the favourable energy and distribution costs partially offset by the goodwill impairment in Aggregates & Concrete segment.
Prospects:
There is growing demand for clinker in the export markets with improving prices. Langkawi plant is well-positioned to benefit from this. Cost reduction and plant reliability remains a priority and the Group will also continue to focus on enhancing its operational efficiency further.
