KUALA LUMPUR (March 13): Bursa Malaysia has suspended the proprietary day trading (PDT) and intraday short selling (IDSS) of DRB-Hicom Bhd, Press Metal Aluminium Holdings Bhd (PMetal), IJM Corporation Bhd and VS Industry Bhd for the rest of the day.
Bursa today said the suspension was after these stocks dropped more than 15% from the reference price.
Thus, the stock exchange said PDT and IDSS activities for these counters will only be enabled next Monday, March 16, at 8:30am.
At 12:20pm, DRB-Hicom fell 32 sen or 17.9% to RM147, giving it a market capitalisation of RM3.02 billion. The counter saw some 4.78 million shares traded.
PMetal's share price fell 68 sen or 15.7% to RM3.65, giving it a market capitalisation of RM15.67 billion.
IJM Corp's share price fell 23 sen or 12.9% to RM1.54, giving it a market capitalisation of RM5.63 billion.
For VS Industry, its share price fell 16 sen or 14.3% to 96 sen. The market capitalisation was RM1.78 billion.
